Anna James' Baby Dedication

On February 22, 2009, we had baby dedication at our church, Hunter Street Baptist Church. We are delighted and humbled with the responsibility of raising Anna James in a Christian home, teaching her about Jesus Christ, pushing her toward God, and praying for her salvation. We ask our friends and family to pray for us and Anna James and hold us accountable as parents to teaching her what she needs to know and doing all we can to help her understand the grace God has offered us through his son, Jesus. These are the most important things we can teach her. This was a very special day with lots of family and friends joining us in this celebration. We are so blessed with such and awesome support system.

I like her smile in this picture.

Our friends, Heather and Jeff, also dedicated their children, Charlotte and Ryan.

Matt's parents: Mimi and Poppi

Brooke's parents: Nonni and Papa

Aunt Mary Knox and Uncle Charles, Matt's God-parents. Mary Knox made this beautiful dress for Anna James. Thank you so much. It is gorgeous and so special.

Playing with my cousins, Emma and Ian

Some silly pictures. Anna James loves her tongue and loves to stick it out right now.

So long and skinny...

She is spitting in this picture. It is really cute when she does this. The picture does not do her justice.

SIX MONTHS OLD!!!!!

HAPPY SIX MONTH BIRTHDAY, ANNA JAMES!!!!!!!

It has been six months since the birth of our daughter, Anna James. I can't believe how fast it has flown by. We are having so much fun with her and she has blessed our lives more than I could have ever imagined. She has developed such a sweet personality and getting to know the world around her. She loves Birdee and playing with her toys and wants to hold everything (and put everything in her mouth). She is eating baby food now and seems to like it. We can't wait to see what all she will do, but, for now, we just want to take it all in and enjoy her being our baby girl.

Anna James is very interested in Birdee and wants to pet her and grab at her. Sometimes Birdee lets her, but sometimes she runs away.

I try to avoid this, but it happens...

Anna James is enjoying eating her baby food in her Bumbo seat. She started out with rice cereal and has also had sweet potatoes and peaches, and a little pudding that daddy gave her. She actually loved the pudding and seems to like eating the fruit and veggies too.

Sweet potatoes are so yummy.......mmmmmmmmm!!!

Anna James now has enough hair that she can wear small hairbows.

Anna James cannot yet set up on her own, but she can sit up with pillows propped behind her. She has so much fun sitting and playing with her toys. I love watching her have fun!!!!!

Here she is actually looking at Birdee, wondering why she is barking.
